"I needed an electrician to come to my house (an old Victorian house that's been renovated several times over the decades) to install a new 240 volt outlet for an electric clothes dryer. I put a request on HomeStars and chose Secure Electrical Solutions Inc. because they asked me a number of questions in their initial response, asked for photos of my fuse box and appeared knowledgeable. The solution proposed by them was to run new wires from my basement fuse box to my second floor laundry room in a manner that would limit the amount of holes that would need to be cut into the walls. They came to my house 5 times: 1. to review the situation and then give me an estimate by email, 2. to measure so they could purchase the necessary length of wiring, 3. to install the wiring and the new outlet, 4. to repair and plaster the holes in the walls, and 5. to paint over the patched holes. They were prompt with each appointment time and were efficient and courteous. I was pleased with the work done by Secure Electrical Solutions Inc. and would use them again."

"I hired Kami as a referral from a friend who had used him to install potlights in her new home. As a condo owner, it's often tough to find good electrical assistance for smaller projects, but Kami was very thoughtful and thorough in his work. Before arriving, he requested photos and a full scope of what was intended to be done. He arrived on site on time with an assistant, and they walked me through all the options of what could be done, having also brought spare parts for each option. The project itself also required the installation of two suspension rods and a transformer box. They ended up working on the project far longer than anticipated as a result of wanting to fully align and install the rods properly. I really appreciated the extra care they took in handling the fixture, adding wiring, installation, and even bringing spray paint to ensure the parts they brought would match my industrial ceiling colour! Definitely the most knowledgeable, kind and honest electrician I've worked with and I look forward to hiring them again in future."
